Retirement readiness starts early!

Retirement readiness starts early!

We all want to have a long, happy, satisfying retirement, yet retirement planning is something that many of us put on the back burner until we are staring retirement in the face. Or worse, until we are forced to leave the workforce due to circumstances beyond our control.

According to the latest Bureau of Statistics data the average retirement age (of all retirees) was 55.4 years while the average age people intend to retire is 65.5 years.
That is a fair gap there between reality and expectations.

We like to think we have control over when we retire from the workplace, but it can be forced on us through ill-health, accidents, redundancy, or other factors that may mean an earlier-than-expected departure from the workplace.

That’s why it’s important to prepare for the unexpected with your retirement plans in case you have to leave paid employment earlier than you expect to.

We can work with you to make sure you are as ready as possible for whatever life throws at you as you approach retirement.

Let’s talk about your financial goals
