Chris Smith, our Principal Mortgage Broker, believes finance is about more than just securing a loan, it’s about helping people make confident decisions that support their long-term goals.

With experience across major banks and the mortgage/finance industry, Chris works closely with financial planners and accountants to help clients align their lending strategies with their broader financial objectives. Whether it’s a first home, investment property, commercial finance, business lending, SMSF lending or restructuring existing debt, his focus is always on finding the right solution for each client’s circumstances.

Known for his straightforward, down-to-earth approach, Chris believes the best outcomes come from understanding what matters most to a client first, then building a finance strategy around those goals. For him, lending isn’t about transactions, it’s about creating opportunities, building wealth and helping clients achieve the future they’re working towards.

Originally from Bristol in the United Kingdom, Chris has proudly called the South Coast home for many years. Outside of work, he enjoys keeping active, spending time with family and supporting his beloved Newcastle United. He is also Treasurer of Healthier Illawarra Men, a local not-for-profit organisation focused on improving men’s health and wellbeing across the region.
