Kaden Emery is a highly experienced financial services executive with over 15 years of leadership across Australia’s largest banks, superannuation funds, and insurers—including AIA Australia, Iress, Aware Super, BT Financial Group, and Commonwealth Bank. He has led national distribution, managed corporate relationships, and embedded operational excellence across advice practices and compliance frameworks.

As General Manager of Smart Financial, Kaden is excited to bring his expertise to serve clients and help grow an already exceptional, client-focused business. His leadership aligns with the purpose-driven vision of Smart Financial’s founder and CEO, Michael Misiti, who established the firm to be a lifelong partner for clients—guiding them through every stage of life with clarity, care, and confidence.

Earlier in his career, Kaden built and scaled high-performing advice teams, pioneered video-conferencing advice delivery, and drove innovation in client engagement. His expertise spans team leadership, strategic planning, compliance, stakeholder management, and digital transformation.

A Shellharbour local, Kaden is passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes and building resilient, customer-centric teams. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and traveling with his wife, Georgina—often visiting Cyprus to reconnect with her family roots and embrace the culture that feels like a second home.
