How To - Business and Trust Entities
Please follow these steps before you come in to get the most from your appointment, we will not be able to access your ATO records before you complete the tax agent nomination process:
1. Set up your myGovID on your mobile phone if you have not done so already.
2. Link your MyGovID to the entity’s ABN using Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM)
3. Log in to Online services for business. https://onlineservices.ato.gov.au/business/
4. You are now ready to nominate “Smart Financial Accounting Pty Ltd” (Tax Agent Number 26293446).From the Online services for business home page:
- select Profile, then Agent details
- at the Agent nominations feature, select Add
- on the Nominate agent screen, go to Search for agent
- type 26293446 (tax agent number) and select Search
- select Smart Financial Accounting Pty Ltd to nominate
- check the details are correct
- complete the Declaration
- select Submit
You’ll now see Smart Financial Accounting Pty Ltd listed under Agent nominations.
5. We will not receive any notification form the ATO; therefore, you should inform us once the completion of the nomination process is completed.
